Standing in the midst of towering specter, you glide onward. You drift through the mist of darkness, seeking something unknown. Something uncharted. Something undiscovered. Dread crawls along the back of your neck. You see visions. You witness nothing.

Sometimes you hear familiar sounds. But is it only your imagination? If you attempt to follow such noises, they vanish almost as quickly as they arrived. Submerged in a world beyond recognition, beyond tangible time and space, beyond clouds and stars and night, beyond comprehension. Your struggle is forgotten, your screams mute.

And yet.

There is something so satisfyingly relaxing that you do not panic. You embrace shadow, entwined in the billows of vaporous fog. It lifts you, cradled in its arms, far into the azure twilight of sleep.

This is the Darkness of Tomorrow.
